Installation

To get started with the CoverCover theme, follow the steps below:

1. Algolia Search:

   • Set up Algolia Search environment variables in the project’s .env file.
   • Create an Algolia account and obtain API keys.
   • Rename the .env.example file to .env and fill in the values with your Algolia API credentials.

2. GetForm contact form:

   • Add your API/endpoint URL to the action attribute of your form in src/components/ContactDrawer.js.
   • Refer to the documentation on https://app.getform.io/forms for more details on using GetForm.

3. Run the project:

   • Ensure that you have Node.js and Gatsby CLI installed.
   • Install project dependencies by running the command npm install.
   • If you encounter installation issues, try using the command npm install --legacy-peer-deps.
   • Navigate into your new site’s directory and start the local server with the command gatsby develop.
   • Refer to the Gatsby CLI reference guide for other available commands.

4. Adding blog posts:

   • The CoverCover theme allows you to easily add your own blog posts using the Jamstack design.
   • Simply create markdown files in the content/posts/ directory with your blog post content.
   • No HTML or CSS is required, as the theme uses MDX for creating blog posts.
   • You can also add React components to your posts using MDX and explore other cool features on mdxjs.com.
